so this evening i went to the primary school for tutoring again, and ended up feeling very guilty towards Kaleb. he's my 8 year old student that i tutor btw. we even forgot our promise to take pictures =[
oh yeah. so Miss Craig wants him to understand what a paragraph is, and i know he really tried to understand it everytime he sees my frustrated expression each time he doesnt pay attention so he tried to make sense of whatever i was explaining but he would still ends up staring into spaces because he couldnt understand what a paragraph is. and i know the activity is hard, and boring for a fidgety 8 year old but i somehow is too rigid on following what Miss Craig has told us to do. Afiq suggested that i should do what he likes and would pay attention to instead of forcing him to do something he wouldn't want to do and is struggling to do. and i know he;s right. i am a bit mad of myself for forcing him to read, because reading is supposed to be a fun thing to do. i want him to feel interested in reading, not something you do because u see a desperate look on your teacher's face. aisyhhhhhh
i guess next time i wont be too rightous about what is expected from the curriculum spec, but to be more flexible. man, isn't teaching hard? but i do feel the kick now. hard, but its fun.
can't wait till next wednesday.

i am still thinking that teach is hard.oh!
hell it is hard haha
but u see the fun in it is when u really want that person tho gain something from you. and when he or she finally does, it feels wonderful. to make someoene change the way the think or see something is a wonderful thing. i dun really know how to explain it. yeah its hard, but theres fun innit too =]
wait wait wait.... how come reading is fun huh???????????
no wonder ur tutor student dont want to pay attention to u coz u got things wrong... hahahahahahaha....
reading is never fun in the point of view of 8 years old kid...
well, in the last 2 weeks i've been handling 7 years old (spoilt brat kids with parents having more than healthy dose of money) teaching them taekwondo. what i could say is, let them do whatever they wanna do. let them have fun. if they look bored, make some jokes, give them break and let them do whatever they want to do, then after that they'll pay much more attention to what we said.
but, never force them to do things. and never show them that u're tired of teaching them. they'll never pity us... T-T the best u can do is smile even when scolding them... lol...
