i think the worst emotional pain is not knowing. yes, contrary to the popular beliefs, ignorance is not always a bliss. based on love stories and songs, the pain of not knowing something is far greater than the pain of knowing. this is because upon discovery of a fact or truth, the regret and guilt that follows soon after will viciously hold on to the person it may concern.
not only that, those feelings of regret will haunt the person it may concern with questions of 'what if's and more, and thats it, if the truth is ever discovered. otherwise, the person will always be put in the state of ignorance, self induced hurts and other weird stuff that one has to experience to be able to live to tell the story hehehe.
and that is me and my attempt to sound very knowledgeable in human psychology
