i love the feeling where i hear people around me speak in a foreign language, l
anguages that are different than the ones i am used to hearing everyday. people here don't speak English and i find it amusing that they speak to you in Japanese and they expect you to understand and reply in an equally rapidfire Japanese too. i like it to see how much pride they have in their language.
and because of that, i was motivated to pick up my japanese dictionary and start learning again ^^
the train system in Tokyo is...complicated. you can go almost anywhere in Japan without a problem because of the effectiveness of its public transport system. due to that, roads are unbelievably small and people don't use cars that much. i would take a picture of its roads and upload them here. i thought roads in NZ were narrow. you wouldn't believe it.
but, i don't dare walking alone on my own yet. the roads are safe, you can see kids walking home alone from kindergaten because it is that safe. but the paths are too complicated. i still can't remember roads very well as for now as it is too different from what i am used to. i long to go out for a walk and come back, but i am afraid that i might not be able to do just so.
and i am not supposed to get lost, anyways. i don't have a cellphone with me so getting myself lost is risky. unless i walk around with my address right? yeah i should do that.
i'll be back peeps. after i figure out the way to walk on my own and come back safely XD
