mak told me this afternoon after we came back from mak alang's kenduri that my neighbour, Husna, 20 years old is getting engaged today!
boy, don't i feel old?
so i was like 'okay,maybe her fiance to be is going to study abroad or something, so that is why they're engaged.'
but mak says 'oh thats a load of crap. if ur going overseas then engagement is nothing but a burden'.
and for once i think she could be right.haha
its not hard to understand the logic. if you are not engaged, it might be easier to get yourself out of a complication. let us say that you both go to different countries, and maybe one of you fell in love with another person, by not being engaged to one particular person you actually save you and your family's butt from loads of humiliation. because once you are engaged to that person, you are also engaged to the family. you might be handling the world's biggest dillema.
and the future is unpredictable, i suppose. so if you are planning to get engaged, forget it. you might as well just get married.thats it, but only when you are ready.
ok enough with engagement and wedding stories.haha.oh yeah before i close the chapter on this one, let me tell you how shocked i am to know that my ex batchmate of smkatj had safely delivered a baby boy!
ok end of that wedding and engagement and marrying chapter.
now,im wondering if i can get a car without my parent's help?
